Hello and Welcome!

Hello and welcome!  This is our first blog post on our new website and I cannot tell you how many times I have started to write this and then started over.  There are just so many things that I want to say at once, but I realized I am going to have to pace myself and would like to start with a huge THANK YOU.  We are so grateful to have this platform to communicate with you, and incredibly grateful that you are here reading it!  This has been a messy, challenging, sometimes long and windy road, but at the same time it has felt like a whirlwind.  Through all of this beautiful chaos, I have not lost sight of our vision and the people that helped us get here.  We would not have been able to make it this far without the support of our family, friends, and our community. 

If you are new here, I would love to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about us.

I’m Alison and this handsome dude in the photos is Jeremiah.  He is my husband and he is an absolute force.  If you know him, you know how lucky I am.  He pours his whole heart into everything he does and his enthusiasm is both inspiring and contagious.  Last year, we packed up our whole life and moved to Connecticut to grow our woodworking business in ways we had only dreamed of.  Just a few short weeks ago, Jeremiah took the leap and left his full-time career, after eighteen years as an arborist, to fulfill his dream and become a full-time woodworker.  It has been his passion, determination, and vision that has led our family down this incredible path. 

I hope this blog will be a place for us to communicate, share knowledge, and tell our story.  Like I said, this journey has felt chaotic at times, but the beauty of building, learning, and bonding has helped us enjoy and embrace the messy parts.
